Manatee Pocket mooring field lease renewal
The county plans to renew its fee-waived state lease for the Port Salerno mooring fields — 42 boat slips and a 9-slip dinghy dock — keeping public waterway access in place.
Leighton Park boat trailer parking
Commissioner Matheson relayed boaters' complaints about short 48-foot trailer spaces at Leighton Park. County staff said spots can be extended to about 52 feet, and that adding more spaces would attract out-of-county boaters since they can't legally be charged differently.
