Repeated his first-reading objection, calling the vacation "an opportunity lost" and urging the board to leverage the land to open Disston Avenue as a second access point instead of allowing a cul-de-sac.

A resident argued the vacation violates the comprehensive plan's transportation element, saying Burke Street once connected to Disston and the project would lock neighbors into a cul-de-sac.

The applicant's agent said the townhomes sell for $360,000-$390,000 in Pasco Park, that the 1911 lots are too narrow for modern homes, and asked for approval so the site plan can be reviewed.
