Pier Events contract

Waterfront Parks Foundation president, neutral on the contract itself, urged council to adopt best practices for events in parks: transparency, revenue sharing, noise and environmental standards.

Marina boat tour operator supported the contract, saying the pier is an event space, events boost downtown businesses, and Pier Events does a good job.
