BSO excessive force — Jeremiah Taylor investigation

The grandfather of Jeremiah Taylor said his family waited nine months only to learn by phone call that the deputy accused of excessive force was cleared, with no written explanation. He asked the commission to formally acknowledge the family's concerns, request a written explanation, and help them seek independent review.

Jeremiah Taylor's mother said she watched video of her son pinned down and kicked repeatedly by a deputy, and that Sheriff Tony's promises of transparency were broken when the deputy was cleared. She asked the commission to help her family get closure.
