Early Voting and Elections
Summary
Early voting is now open in Pinellas County, so you can cast a ballot before Election Day if you know where to go and what's on your ballot. It's a convenient option, but it only matters if voters actually use it.

Impact analysis
Taxpayers foot the bill for staffing and securing early voting sites, but the cost is typically baked into county election budgets rather than showing up as a new line item.
Voters with tight schedules, older residents, and anyone who wants to avoid Election Day crowds get the biggest break.
