Flock license plate readers

A Davie rancher said the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission illegally accessed DMV records to track him and dozens of other advocates through Flock cameras after he spoke against an Everglades project — including searching his mother, who has dementia.

A Cuban American resident on Social Security said the cameras feel like a police state, criticized the ~$99,000 spent, but praised the police department's outreach to him after he raised concerns.
