3 issues in roads with high priority
Highway 390 congestion and traffic safety
A resident warned that children crossing near Bay Haven Elementary are a safety hazard and liability risk — no crossing guard, kids cutting through a no-trespass clinic lot. He asked the city to involve the school board or a resource officer.
East 37th Street Emergency Road Connection
A county resident asked the city to commit in writing that a proposed emergency road connection won't become a school-traffic cut-through, and questioned why affected residents weren't notified. The city manager said nothing is budgeted for the project this fiscal year.
10th Street construction project
Residents affected by the repeatedly delayed 10th Street project will get a Saturday workshop on June 27 at 2 p.m. to vent and be heard; Commissioner Tinder has fielded numerous complaints.
