Hamrick TDR purchase

Mr. Hamrick's representative argued state appraisals recognized the TDRs as the owner's property, demanded the county stop asserting ownership, and pushed for purchase at 2005 value plus appreciation.

A resident of the receiving area supported Chairman Campione's position and offered support for using tax money or grant partners to purchase the TDRs.

Reminded the board there is a prior lawsuit, court order and settlement agreement, and that government must honor past commitments in good faith rather than simply refusing the TDRs.
