Fire Station 113 and Administration Building Redevelopment
The city is moving forward with design of a new fire rescue station and fire administration facility. Where it goes and how it's built affects emergency response times for years to come.
Forfeiture funds for narcotics and forensics equipment
Police would spend $76,000 in federal forfeiture money — seized assets, not tax dollars — on narcotics identification and digital forensic equipment.
FDOT traffic safety grants
Two $25,000 state grants would fund seat belt, child passenger safety, and teen driver education and enforcement campaigns. No local match is mentioned, so it's essentially free funding for police traffic safety work.
School Zone Safety and Speed Enforcement Cameras
RedSpeed Florida will give an update on the school zone speed camera enforcement program. Drivers passing schools when flashing lights are on could face automated citations.
