Downtown beautification and sidewalk safety

A property owner presented photos and an AI rendering showing how the unattractive SR 520 gateway sidewalk into Brevard Avenue could be beautified with trees, buffers, and safer walking space before he leases to a family-oriented retail tenant; he asked for the board's blessing and any CRA or grant help.

A Brevard Avenue resident suggested the CRA extend the planter concept used in front of Osorio's to other wide downtown sidewalks — like in front of the playhouse — as both landscaping and a curb-jump safety barrier, and asked for landscaping at the new boat disembarking parking area.
