E-bike and e-scooter regulation

A teenager who bikes and walks in Aventura described close calls with speeding e-bikes and scooters, including on the Don Soffer exercise trail, and proposed stricter rules and enforcement. Mayor Weinberg said the city agrees and has stepped up enforcement.

A Don Soffer High School student agreed with the prior speaker, saying e-bikes dart out at the school crosswalk and endanger students.
